About us:

Coral Gardeners is an NGO founded in 2017 by young Mo'orea surfers. Witnessing the degradation of their local reef, they came together to make a difference. Today, we are an international collective committed to revolutionizing ocean conservation and saving coral reefs.

Main mission:

As part of the development of our CGXperience, we are looking for an eco-tour guide to offer our visitors an unforgettable immersive experience around coral restoration.

As a guide, you will accompany groups of 4 to 12 people, make them discover our nurseries and share our vision of a living ocean.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome visitors and animate visits in our nurseries.

• Explain the work of Coral Gardeners, at sea (coral restoration) as well as on land (awareness, innovation, international commitment).

• Adapt your speech and approach to each type of audience: families, schoolchildren, tourists, professional groups, etc.

• Set up, maintain and store the presentation location.

• Answer visitors' questions with pedagogy.

• Communicate with internal teams to ensure a smooth and qualitative experience.

• Participate in the maintenance of coral restoration areas.

Required skills and qualifications:

Technical skills:

CPPA APPN (Support for the Practice of Nautical Physical Activities) mandatory.
Fluent level of French, professional English. Tahitian is a real plus.
Good knowledge of Tahitian culture, traditions and environment.
Oral fluency, sense of popularization, ability to captivate different audiences.
Mastery of office tools (Google Workspace, Office Pack).
Experience in animation, guidance or scientific mediation appreciated.

Educational fiber and taste for transmission.
Team spirit and autonomy.
Sense of organization and service.
Interest in marine conservation issues.
Ability to report, follow training and adapt.
