Gallifrey Foundation is a marine conservation not-for-profit that focuses on upstream systemic change for positive impact by addressing several topics such as, but not limited to, shark protection, deep seabed mining, plastic pollution and chemicals, overfishing, ocean litigation & ocean rights, whaling, gender equality in ocean and climate change issues.

𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗻-𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 “𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗱” 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 to assist our small team.

Main tasks will be to regularly feed the social media accounts: Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook accounts as a priority, Threads account secondly, as per the communications strategy. YouTube development is envisaged in the short term. We have left X (and we're not missing it).

Requirements:

Experience in social media drafting and posting - 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁.
Genuine interest in, or knowledge of marine conservation topics, and/or pursuing studies in the field of, e.g., marine biology, environment, or related topics
Excellent English and grammar skills
Sense of aesthetics/branding
Flexibility
